Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned SAP ECC Implementation Project Manager to join the IT Finance team of a large CPG company. This role is fully remote and will support a critical SAP ECC implementation, with Phase 1 go-live scheduled for November 3rd. The team is currently in the design workshop phase and will begin build activities next week. The project is being executed using a Waterfall approach, so the PM must have strong recent experience in Waterfall environments.

This implementation supports the launch of a direct-to-consumer model, a first for the company, which has historically focused on manufacturing. The project involves SAP configuration only—no third-party integrations—and will be managed manually. The PM will be responsible for driving the project forward, keeping the team focused on deliverables, creating and managing project plans and process flows, identifying and escalating issues proactively, and ensuring deadlines are met. The PM should be confident, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Strong SAP ECC experience is essential to speak the language of the team and guide the project successfully. Phase 2 will follow, which includes automation and support during hypercare. Pay is around 55-60/hr.

Skills and Requirements

-10+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager

-At least 5 recent years managing SAP implementation projects

-Hands-on experience with SAP ECC

-Strong background in Waterfall methodology; some Agile exposure

-Proficiency with Microsoft Project (MSPO) null
