Key Responsibilities

+ **Design and Implementation** : Create and manage database structures that align with user requirements and business needs.

+ **Performance Monitoring** : Regularly monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.

+ **Data Management** : Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, and dictionaries; perform data migration and transformation processes.

+ **Backup and Recovery** : Implement and manage database backup and recovery procedures to prevent data loss.

+ **Collaboration** : Work closely with software developers, data analysts, and system administrators to ensure data integrity and support application development.

+ **Security** : Protect databases against unauthorized access and threats, ensuring compliance with security standards.

+ **Documentation** : Maintain documentation related to database design, configuration, and performance metrics.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ **Technical Skills** : Proficiency in SQL and experience with various database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).

+ **Analytical Skills** : Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable insights.

+ **Problem-Solving** : Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify and resolve database-related issues promptly.

+ **Education** : A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.

+ **Experience** : 11 years of experience in database engineering or administration roles, with familiarity in cloud databases, cross domain solutions, and big data environments.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor s degree in a related computer science area with 10 years of data engineering experience with related experience within the last 2 years, or 15 years of experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
