HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

+ Operate a variety of heavy equipment including motor graders, bulldozers, excavators, compactors, and front-end loaders to maintain and repair test tracks and road surfaces.
+ Perform precise grading and shaping of surfaces to meet engineering specifications for tire testing.
+ Maintain paved and unpaved surfaces to ensure consistent traction, drainage, and safety conditions.
+ Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
+ Collaborate with engineering and testing teams to support scheduled test activities and surface condition requirements.
+ Monitor weather and environmental conditions to proactively manage surface integrity.
+ Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and surface conditions.
+ Effective communication on all task with supervisor/manager / online tools.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction, road maintenance, or similar environments.
+ Strong knowledge of grading techniques, soil compaction, and surface preparation.
+ Experience working with both paved and gravel surfaces.
+ Ability to read and interpret grading plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.
+ Valid driver’s license and applicable heavy equipment certifications.
+ Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
+ Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
+ Vocational or technical training in heavy equipment operation preferred.
+ Experience in a testing or research facility environment.
+ Familiarity with GPS or laser-guided grading systems.
+ Basic mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
+ CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is a plus.
+ Problem-Solving Skills-Thinks critically to find the best repair solutions
