Job Description
The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology has an outstanding opportunity for a **Clinical Laboratory Coordinator** .
WORK SCHEDULE
+ 40 hours per week (Full-Time)
+ Day Shift

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
+ Requires High School/ GED AND two years of office or administrative support experience
OR
+ an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision, perform critical tasks related to Accessioning in Anatomic Pathology. Routine tasks include: specimen pickup from ORs and Lab Medicine; specimen receipt; specimen logging; EPIC registration for patients; accessioning internal and external specimens; monitoring expected specimens and initiating follow-up for missing or delayed specimens as necessary; ensuring all necessary documentation for specimen accessioning is received and recorded and obtaining additional documentation as necessary; monitoring and processing CARS requests related to additional materials for external specimens; communicating and upholding the standards for specimen receipt and accessioning with internal and external clients effectively and professionally; tracking and packaging materials for internal couriers and FedEx. Successful candidates will have strong administrative skills.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:
$47,724.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:
$68,244.00 annual
