2026 Internship \- Customer Support Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

To provide technical and engineering coordination between the customer, Marketing and Engineering/Manufacturing\. Prepares technical proposals and problem summaries for company wide usage\. Provides Service facilities, Field Service personnel and aircraft operators with technical assistance regarding all Fleet Programs\. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Prepare technical data and problem summaries from field reports and inspection summaries to brief marketing, engineering and manufacturing functions on field problems\.

* Sustain technical files of existing and potential product improvements and serialized production changes\.

* Analyze discrepancy reports concerning Textron Aviation Fleet Program products\. Coordinates corrective action with Manufacturing\.

* Acts as liaison between Field Service and Manufacturing on customer problems and corrective measures\.

* Support the on\-site assistance at company owned service centers and independent service stations during investigation of unique aircraft problems or prototype installation\.

* Assist with the preparation of technical programs for operators conferences and technical seminars\.

* Support the team and assist with the coordination of equipment suppliers to achieve maximum reliability from installed equipment on Textron Aviation products\.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

* Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in:

o Aircraft Management

o Aerospace Engineering

o Avionics Engineering

o Mechanical Engineering

o Other related field

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills

* Excellent customer service skills

* Good computer skills

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late\-May to early\-August lasting 10 weeks

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager\.
