**Starting Pay Rate:** $68.58 per hour

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in aerospace to hire a **Production Pilot** in Mesa, AZ. In this critical role, you will conduct production acceptance testing and in-flight troubleshooting of the **AH-64 Apache helicopter** , ensuring airworthiness and reliability before delivery. Your expertise will directly support the performance and safety of one of the world’s most advanced aircraft.

What You’ll Do

+ Perform **Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC)** , in-flight troubleshooting, verifications, and Maintenance Test Flights (MTF).

+ Validate aircraft airworthiness after production build, repairs, or modifications.

+ Conduct flight briefings for crew members and maintenance personnel.

+ Utilize AH-64E IETM, Operator’s Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, and Check-List Manual.

+ Support flight operations with a focus on **safety, precision, and compliance** .

Required Qualifications

+ Completion of **U.S. Army AH-64E Apache Longbow Aircraft Qualification Course (AQC)** or equivalent contractor-approved training.

+ Minimum **1,000 flight hours** as AH-64D/E Pilot-in-Command (PIC).

+ Current **Army or FAA Class II Flight Physical** (6+ months remaining at hire).

+ **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

+ **Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.**

Preferred Qualifications

+ Completion of **AH-64 Aviation Maintenance Officers Course (AMOC) Phase I & II** or DES-approved equivalency.

+ Minimum **100 flight hours** as AH-64D/E Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP).

+ Prior experience as an **AH-64D/E Maintenance Examiner (ME)** or Technical Inspector.

+ Experience in desert operations with AH-64E helicopters.

+ 10+ years of aviation maintenance experience, including supervisory and production control leadership.

+ Familiarity with **ULLS-A(E)/ACN** or similar aviation maintenance management systems.

+ Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (with experience as outlined).

**Pay Details:** $68.58 per hour
