    Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Responsibilities What to Expect Responsible for the analysis of information developed by the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaint processing system, identification of trends, broad problems and potential solutions as related to Nonappropriated Fund employees. Participates in all phases of administration of the EEO program with specific responsibility for identifying problems and making recommendations for solutions. Assists the Deputy Equal Employment Opportunity Officer (DEEOO) through all phases of the EEO Complaint Process from contact to adjudication. Complaints assigned are complex, controversial, and require extensive fact-finding, in-depth analysis, innovative approaches and methods (including mediation), for developing proposed resolutions. Conducts Title VII analysis of investigative files, prepares briefs and prepares recommendations for settlement of discrimination complaints. Is responsible for providing guidance to all NAF Supervisors, Managers and employees on Reasonable Accommodation process. Additionally, ensures the accurate and timely processing of all Reasonable Accommodations. Responsible for compiling, maintaining, reporting and analyzing additional statistical data to evaluate effectiveness of program. Identifies and determines problem areas and trends. Responsible for establishing facts, analyzing and evaluating complaints and negotiating pre-complaint adjustments with management and complainant whenever possible. Consults with cognizant line official to develop resolutions to complaints of discrimination and prepares final recommendations to DEEOO for acceptance or rejection. Must maintain confidentiality and integrity of personnel information and processes. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment See Duties and Qualifications EVALUATIONS: Qualifications What are we looking for? A minimum of 4 years of experience demonstrating comprehensive and thorough knowledge of EEO laws, regulations, Executive Orders, court decisions, etc., and skill to apply this knowledge to a variety of difficult and complex work assignments. Knowledge of the Nonappropriated Fund organizational structure, management policies, personnel procedures, and practices of the Agency. Thorough and detailed knowledge of, and skill in using, methods and techniques for the EEO program including fact-finding, analysis and resolution of complex problems. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with, and gain the confidence and cooperation of employees, supervisory and managers on difficult and complex issues. Skill in written and oral communication sufficient to prepare and present findings and to recommend and/or carry out specific action(s) regarding difficult issues, and/or develop and provide program training, and/or prepare instructions.
