A Brief Overview
Accountable for coordinating staffing and the scheduling of professional and unlicensed staff while performing clerical and administrative functions for the department.
What you will do
+ Prepares and coordinates all nursing personnel staffing schedules, working with managers as needed.
+ Provides input into development and revision of staffing policies; adheres to staffing policy, contract language when applying scheduling practices.
+ Accurately processes payroll by verifying schedules and appropriate pay codes, updates time/attendance sheets, green sheets, signing off on all assigned employee time cares.
+ Provides managers with timely notification of employee absences from work, tardiness, non-compliance with time/attendance guidelines Assists in developing/maintaining resident's medical records.
+ Provides customer files for satisfaction surveys; responsible for entering and/or verifying accuracy of admission, discharge, and bed hold information in Meditech.
+ Accurately prepares & submits PBJ data to CMS quarterly, at a minimum.
+ Manages resident trust accounts and facility deposits.
+ Insurance updates, input and communication with the CBO and social work.
+ Works with CBO regarding resident billing; responsible for daily census communication with CBO.
+ Medical Assistance with county social workers 1503 forms; insurance research in the one source program; provides assistance in data entry, pulling and/or processing of reports and updates and registers residents in Meditech.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
+ Associate's Associate's degree or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school; 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
+ Health care environment
+ Office assistant/manager
