**Location:** Maquoketa, IA

Express Employment is seeking candidates for a **temporary Senior IT Technician position** with one of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a vital role supporting IT operations — and the client is looking for someone who can **start immediately** .

Snapshot of the Role

As a Senior IT Technician, you’ll ensure the effective operation and management of IT assets at an assigned facility. You will serve as the primary IT contact on-site, acting as a liaison between the global IT team and local operations leadership. Your work will focus on maintaining technology standards, providing advanced technical support, and ensuring end users receive high-quality service within established service-level agreements.

What You’ll Be Doing

+ **Site Ownership:** Act as the primary IT representative for the facility, responsible for device management, user support, IT room maintenance, and on-site infrastructure.

+ **Customer Service & Communication:** Build trust with local users and leadership by delivering professional, timely, and reliable support. Escalate issues as needed to ensure service-level agreements are met.

+ **Collaboration & Teamwork:** Partner with IT colleagues and project teams to meet deadlines, control costs, and deliver exceptional customer care in a fast-paced environment.

+ **Advanced Technical Support:** Provide hands-on troubleshooting and serve as a technical escalation point for end users. Support includes networking, server, cloud technologies, datacenter maintenance, and network closet upkeep.

What You’ll Need

+ Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

+ Advanced expertise with Microsoft operating systems and applications.

+ Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Active Directory).

+ Strong understanding of hardware, mobile technologies, and peripherals.

+ Experience with datacenter equipment and structured cabling.

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Authorization to work in the United States.
