    Under the direction of the Manager, Information Systems Department or designee, provides application support to Pharmacy Department. Acts as the key liaison between the business community, vendors and the IS Department. Responsible for Tier 2 support of applications. Translates customers’ high-level requirements into functional specifications for the IS Department and manages changes to such specifications. Uses a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers. Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes and/or systems. Codes, defines criteria and performs testing, debugging and documents and maintains programs. Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies, pharmacy clinical regulations, pharmacy billing regulations and possible application to the business.

    **Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD). Licensed Pharmacist (RPh). Current driver’s license, abstract, and current Hawai‘i auto insurance. Five (5) years of working experience in a Pharmacy, preferably in a hospital setting. Experience with personal computers.

    **Preferred Experience:** Experience with supporting information systems. Experience in analyzing workflow and implementing changes in workflow. Working experience with EpicRX and Pyxis.
