    Description

    SAIC is seeking a **Junior Electrical Engineer** , to support electrical design and development projects, and contribute to documentation, testing, and problem-solving activities. **This position is 100% remote.**

    The Junior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

    + Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, circuits, and components. Work on schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototype assembly.

    + Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Document test results and provide recommendations for improvements.

    Qualifications

    Required Education:

    + Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

    Required Clearance:

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance; Interim secret required to start.

    + US Citizenship required.

    Required Skills:

    + Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle, OrCAD).

    + Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).

    + Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit design.

    + Knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded systems.

     

    Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
