    Description

    SAIC is seeking **Test Engineers** to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services.

     

    This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS.

     

    This position will be located in the National Capital Region.

     

    Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by fall 2025.

    The **Test Engineer** responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    + Experience in software testing with expertise in advanced test design techniques

    + Significant experience in test automation, performance testing, and continuous integration

    + Ability to lead testing efforts, provide technical guidance, and ensure comprehensive test coverage

    + Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scrips, manage complex test threads, and optimize test script performance including Functional, Ad Hoc, API, and Regression Testing

    + Monitor test executions and analyze outcomes to identify any discrepancies or failures

    + Continuously improve test methodologies to enhance test accuracy and reliability and update test documentation to reflect any changes in requirements or procedures

    + Identify software quality problems and coordinate with system developers to resolve defects

    Qualifications

    + **Clearance Requirements:** Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

    + **One Active Certification(s):** CompTIA Security+, Certified Software Tester (CSTE), CompTIA Network+ **Education Requirements:** Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science and 9 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)

    + Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, etc.

    + Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Junit, TestNG)

    + Experience with automated test script execution and management

    + Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for test scripts

    + Experience in an Agile environment, working in Sprints

    + **Test Engineer Senior:** Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science and 5 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)

    + **Test Engineer Senior Principal:** Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science and 14 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)

     

    Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
