Job Summary
This position includes responsibilities such as:
+ Patient-specific and machine quality assurance (QA)
+ Data management
+ Support for HDR brachytherapy workflows
+ Assisting with treatment planning and equipment validation
While prior experience in radiation oncology is preferred, it's not required. Training will be provided for qualified candidates with a strong STEM background and a willingness to learn.
Highlights of the Role:
+ Perform QA on linear accelerators, imaging systems, and software systems.
+ Support HDR procedures, including source calibration, planning, and documentation.
+ Assist with simulation and treatment planning processes.
+ Manage DICOM data transfers to outside institutions and clinical trial repositories.
+ Participate in new technology validation and QA documentation.
+ Collaborate with physicists, therapists, and dosimetrists in a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Backgrounds:
In addition to interest in clinical physics operations, we are especially interested in candidates who bring complementary skills in:
+ Power BI, data visualization, or analytics
+ Power Platform or workflow automation
+ Software development (Python, .NET, etc.)
+ 3D printing or technical fabrication
These areas are not required for the role but represent valuable directions for growth and contribution within the department.

Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Engineering, Information Technology or related field, required.
+ Additional Skills (required):
+ Use of computer systems and applications including proficient use of MS Excel and Word.
+ Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence.
