Micron Technology is looking for a diligent Senior Financial Analyst to handle financial planning in Core Data Center. This role focuses on DRAM and NAND products sold into data center applications and plays a critical part in delivering financial insights, partnering with cross-functional teams, and enabling data-driven decisions that shape the future of enterprise infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead quarterly business planning and weekly flash reporting for revenue, manufacturing cost, and operating expenses across CDBU.
+ Perform financial analysis across multiple dimensions (e.g., product, customer, region, technology) to assess profitability and identify trends. Partner with business development, marketing, and other customers to understand market dynamics and translate them into actionable financial insights.
+ Support revenue segmentation processes to ensure accurate financial attribution and pricing accountability across products and customers. Build and maintain dashboards and analytical tools using Power BI and Excel to deliver timely, automated insights to leadership.
+ Prepare executive-level presentations and financial narratives for CDBU leadership reviews while collaborating with corporate FP&A, HR, and business customers to align on headcount and operational plans.
+ Ensure compliance with financial governance standards, including SOX controls and reporting accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 3 plus years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), with a strong foundation in forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis with a bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with a confirmed ability to build automated dashboards and analytical tools that drive timely, actionable insights.
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures, gross margin analysis, and price-volume-mix methodologies with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, strategic recommendations for business partners.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials for senior leadership.
+ Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, particularly with marketing, business development, and corporate finance teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ MBA or CPA
+ 5 plus years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), with a strong foundation in forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis.
+ Familiarity with SOX compliance and financial governance processes, with a dedication to accuracy and audit readiness.
