    Our Engineering team thrives on teamwork, creativity, and pushing boundaries. We’re looking for a Principal Electrical Design Engineer Lead who’s passionate about driving innovation in memory product tester equipment and interface/load board design. This is a high-impact leadership role where your technical expertise and strategic vision will directly influence the future of our technology.

    What You’ll Do

    + Lead a team of electrical engineers enthusiastic about crafting groundbreaking semiconductor tester equipment and interface/load boards.

    + Architect high-performance analog circuits, power supplies, and FPGA-based solutions.

    + Conduct design reviews and ensure alignment with project goals and quality standards.

    + Translate system requirements into PCB design specifications and develop analog circuits, including system and POL power supplies.

    + Lead FPGA design using HDL and coordinate component selection and schematic development.

    + Partner with PCB designers to create layouts and validate assemblies through debugging and verification.

    + Drive support throughout the product lifecycle—from prototype deployment and customer qualification to post-release design enhancements and issue resolution.

    What You Bring** **:

    + BS/MS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.

    + demonstrated 5 years of ability in electrical engineering, specifically in hardware/PCB design.

    + Proven leadership in managing engineering teams.

    + Proficiency in Siemens Xpedition or similar EDA tools.

    + Solid understanding of circuit simulation tools like Analog Device LTspice or Cadence PSpice), and lab equipment.

    + Strong understanding of PCB layout, power integrity (PI), and signal integrity (SI).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with FPGA/ASIC design using HDL (Verilog/VHDL and System Verilog).

    + Familiarity with FPGA/ASIC development EDA tools such as AMD/Xilinx Vivado or Intel/Altera Quartus.

    + Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, JTAG, PCIe).

    + Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automating testing and analysis.

    The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

    $159,000.00 - $324,000.00

     

    Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
