*How you’ll contribute*

A Medical Technologistwho excels in this role:

* Able to perform/knowledge of all items in the Competency Assessment Booklet and takes initiative to complete competencies within different areas (blood bank, histology, etc).

* Accuracy in performing patient testing.

* Proficiency testing scores of 95%.

* Accuracy in performing QC/corrective action/failures/documentation with less than 5 errors per year.

* Maintains phlebotomy proficiency and meets collection time standards.

* Meets turn-around-time standards.

* Completes all testing following state and federal guidelines.

*What we’re looking for *

Applicants should have a successful completion of a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist program. Transcript required.Additional requirements include:

* Must obtain CLS or ASCP within 6 months of hire or a minimum of 15 years direct experience is required.
