Are you looking for an entry-level position where you can use your analytical and collaboration skills in a meaningful work environment that supports and protects explorers and heroes? Join our team! As a Internal Compliance Auditor I, you will report to the Internal Compliance Manager. You will be learning to analyze and evaluate information as necessary to the subject of auditing and compliance. As an auditor, you will support senior auditing staff in preparing findings of the audit to the relevant internal functional area(s). You will learn to support audits in accordance with both external and internal audit plans.
As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.
Responsibilities
+ Assist senior staff in audit activities using a risk based methodology.
+ Handle the execution of annual internal audit plans.
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
+ Independently conduct audits ensuring compliance.
+ Collaborate with various internal teams.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field and typically 0 - 2+ years of related work experience.
+ Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
+ Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
+ Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and determine deficiency in compliance
+ Strong attention to detail and the ablity to work independently
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Background in accounting
+ CPA, CMA, CIA or other relevant government contracting/contract management certifications
