Objectives:

Perform plumbing duties, as required, to install and repair air, gas, nitrogen, steam, water lines, fire protection etc., including conformance to specification and applicable codes.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and install plumbing systems within the facility using copper, iron, plastic, and steel pipe, etc. Respond to written/verbal trouble calls from building tenants.

2. Perform duties as assigned to ensure successful operation of the Facility. Must be motivated to work independently and work well in a team environment. Demonstrate good workmanship, attention to detail is critical.

3. Perform operations to complete assigned jobs per blueprints, sketches or written/verbal orders.

4. Cut and thread pipe, as required.

5. Determine and prepare requisitions for materials and replacement parts.

6. Collect and maintain data and records, as required.

7. Assist Engineering/supervision in obtaining cost estimates.

8. Observe company safety rules and regulations, practice good housekeeping, maintain company quality and performance standards.

9. Report unusual conditions and problems to supervisor, maintain licenses & certificates required for position.

10. Requires the understanding of complicated drawings, schematics and sketches.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ 3-5 years plumbing trade experience or equivalent AAS degree.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ License from City of Rochester and Backflow certification are a plus.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $24.00 - $38.00 per hour. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.
