Designed to be an immersive and collaborative experience, the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Global Leadership and Learning Institute offers experiential classes and online learning modules at every experience level to give Cleveland Clinic caregivers the tools and the connections they need to find success, while allowing them to develop their own career path.
While working closely with department representatives, you will participate in a structured learning experience. You will perform a variety of administrative tasks and work on various projects. The projects will vary depending on what institute and department you are working in. You are required to be located in Cleveland, OH or Florida for the duration of the internship. Some departments may provide remote/hybrid opportunities, but you will need to be in the area in order to come on-site for meetings.
The Graduate Administrative Internship will take place from May 2026-July 2026 (10 weeks). The team can make exceptions for this to be 12 weeks should your graduate program require it.
A caregiver in this role works Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Interns will be located **onsite** either at Main Campus in Cleveland, Ohio or at one of our Florida locations.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Research, compile, tabulate, and analyze data and processes for various administrative and departmental matters.
+ Assist department personnel in assigned administrative, planning, organizational, technical, and professional tasks.
+ Provide suggestions or recommendations about department specific projects.
+ Prepare and present reports and draft policies and procedures, respond to requests for information.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Current college enrollment.
+ Can discuss and weigh pros and cons and separate critical issues.
+ Can make definitive choices, express opinions on issues and can explain logical path decisions.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Current enrollment in a Master's of Healthcare Administration (MHA), Master's of Public Health (MPH), or Master's of Health Services Administration (MSHSA), or Masters of Business Administration (MBA) between your first and second year in the program.
Physical Requirements:
+ Requires full range of body motion including handling/lifting items, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
+ Requires frequent standing and sitting.
+ Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Personal Protective Equipment:
+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
