As a CBRE Operations Management Director, you assist with the oversight of the department responsible for planning, managing, and directing business operations for a large region or a high-profile global client.

     

    This job is part of the Operations Management job function. They are responsible for coordinating staff functions and operations that support the organization’s goals and strategies.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

    + Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

    + Assist with providing efficient and effective strategic operations. This includes revenue growth and profitability, new business development, etc.

    + Conduct departmental financial evaluations, including monthly revenue and expense projections.

    + Oversee and guide the work of our communications function, ensuring all client-facing and intra-organizational content is aligned with company standards. Ensure that all Marketing collateral, press releases, and web publishing are in accordance with company standards. Work with internal marketing and communications teams to ensure effective service delivery, business promotion, advertisement, and public relations.

    + Ensure global Key Performance Indicator (KPI) agreement, alignment, calculation and reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

    + Oversee the governance of our client-contracts, working with client and internal stakeholders for timely completion of any new or renewing contracts as well as maintaining the overall governance structure and taxonomy, in maintenance of listing and transaction files, verifying compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, Real Estate Commission rules, and compliance with corporate policies.

    + Oversee and lead governance regarding our day-to-day operational methods and standards, defining and executing an operational plan that supports our business execution delivery and growth plans.

    + Manage and set priorities for project resources and assess needs. Conduct training needs making sure account office standards are met.

    + Coordinate all Senior (SLT) and Extended (XLT) leadership meetings and engagement to ensure consistent communication and pass down of global process, policy and procedure.

    + Identify opportunities to improve, refine and expand services through best practices and best in class innovations in core real estate services.

    + Ensure contractual obligations and commitments are communicated effectively, deficits are identified and addressed including but not limited to innovations, cost savings and compliance

    + Support Global Alliance Director (GAD) in formulating and formalizing global account strategy including account alliance plan, client goal alignment, relationship management,

    + Act as a single point of contact for client partner enablement team to ensure a seamless interaction between CBRE account operations and client key relationship and stakeholders.

    + Responsibility for delivery of account all hands meetings, client quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual strategic evaluation team (SET) meetings.

    + Act as a change agent with experience and competency in delivering transitions across geographies inspiring others to embrace new processes and improvements.

    + Guide the procurement and maintenance of office supplies and equipment. Review vendor service contracts with the internal procurement office.

    + Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.

    + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values and Client Maxims. Persuade managers and colleagues to act while guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.

    + Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.

    + Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

    + Global experience preferred

    + Expected global and domestic travel up to 20%.

    What You’ll Need:

    + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is required. is preferred.

    + Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.

    + Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments results within a function.

    + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc. as well as Slack, AirTable and Tableau,

    + Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.

    + A tolerance for ambiguity and proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment

    + Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
