    Support the department supervisor in directing work flow.

     

    Key Tasks

     

    -Responsible for providing guidance and direction to production team members during assemble operations of manual wheelchairs.

     

    -Lead standard work training that ensures all team members are properly trained to meet production goals.

     

    -Monitor production processes to ensure that they are running efficiently, while identifying and resolving waste.

     

    -Identify process abnormalities and rejects from production line and report in daily Gemba.

     

    -Maintain a Safe and Clean work environment for production team. See Something Say Something initiative with a goal of Zero Lost Time Incidents.

     

    -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

     

    -Basic proficiency with computers (Windows, Excel, Word, etc.)

     

    -Responds quickly and appropriately when the line is down.

     

    -Support and collaborate closely with Production Supervisor to ensure seamless daily operations.

    Your Background

     

    You have a High School Diploma or GED level or equivalent education along with familiarity with mobility devices in the medical field is preferred.

     

    -2+ years of previous production lead experience is preferred or a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Permobil production line operator.

     

    -Adaptable to change is a must as it’s required to learn and gain thorough knowledge of all stations.
