Position Overview:

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Galen College of Nursing, you will support the continued optimization of Galen’s digital marketing experience delivered to student prospects. The Digital Marketing Specialist will continue to stay educated on digital marketing trends, with a heavy focus on inbound marketing tactics to generate student leads. The ideal candidate also possesses demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive event marketing support, including but not limited to coordinating promotional activities, managing logistics, and supporting event partnerships through communication and digital campaign tactics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out day to day project tasks as part of the development and execution of lead nurturing and marketing automation initiatives (email, SMS, other channels).

2. Collaborate on building and maintaining dynamic campaigns, communication flows, and segmentation strategies that enhance personalization and effectiveness – based on business needs.

3. Create and optimize email and SMS communications using dynamic content tailored to various prospective student segments.

4. Analyze event & inbound campaign performance metrics and identify opportunities to refine campaign logic and improve user experience.

5. Support the regular digital and event-based marketing needs of the college’s partnership managers (recruiters) including but not limited to developing creative briefs, executing Facebook events, and more.

6. Support in the development and maintenance of Google My Business and Apple Maps listings as needed.

7. Assist in the content and asset delivery of advertising and lead generation digital media campaigns in support of Galen’s media agency partner.

8. Continue to find ways to evolve and enhance performance marketing reports.

9. Stay current with social/digital media trends and make recommendations as necessary on the direction and new modes of communication.

10. Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

+ Experience: 3+ years in digital marketing or online marketing role.

+ Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms, such as Oracle Eloqua, Marketo, or HubSpot, or expert-level experience with email/SMS marketing platforms such as ConstantContact or MailChimp.

+ Experience with CRM & data management is a plus.

+ Experience with WordPress CMS, WP plugins such as Yoast SEO, and HTML/CSS knowledge a big plus.

+ Experience with integrated marketing initiatives & strategy is a plus.

+ Experience with event management software, such as Cvent, Eventbrite or AirTable.

+ Working knowledge of Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms.

+ Experience with tagging, tracking, and data integrations which power Galen’s marketing technology stack.
