    + The Manager, Corporate Development will lead a team of analysts responsible for a portfolio of strategic projects and Board materials.

    + This job is a member of the Corporate Development team within our Finance division.

     

    What you'll do

    + Evaluating, providing recommendations, and aligning teams for company initiatives by building advanced financial models (using sensitivity analysis, forecasting and data modelling, and regression analysis)

    + Identify and assess financial feasibility, financial risks and opportunities associated with strategic initiatives

    + Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making for internal projects

    + Leads cross-departmental teams (matrix organization) in partnership with business units to pursue investment and strategic opportunities; including identifying deliverables and timelines, and managing stakeholder relationships and expectations

    + Manages large and complex projects from end-to-end, using project plans to track performance and ensure timely completion

    + Pursues and evaluates creative innovation opportunities in collaboration with business partners

    + Assesses, analyzes, structures, negotiates, documents and executes corporate investment transactions

    + Works closely with internal (Legal, Accounting, Tax) and external advisors (Consultants, Bankers, Lawyers)

    + Creates executive and Board level presentation materials providing thorough assessment of opportunities, risks, benefits, and alternatives

    + Collaboratively assigns, or delegates responsibility for, specified project work or functional activities

    + Maintains thorough knowledge of the company, industry, competitors, and broader market dynamics that may define the current landscape and influence future business decisions

     

    All you'll need for success

    Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

    + MBA or similar degree

    + 5+ years of prior work experience in finance or corporate development roles

    + Prior work experience in the airline (or related) industry preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

    + Master of Business Administration

    + Previous experience in project management and/or strategy.

    Skills, Licenses & Certifications

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

    + Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a variety of demanding, fast paced and ambiguous situations.

    + Exceptional organization and planning skills, with attention to detail.

    + Ability to logically structure analysis of complex issues using an analytical framework and develop creative solutions to business challenges.

    + Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with all levels of management.

    + Strong analytical, strategic thinking and written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to problem solve and effectively deal with ambiguity.
