    POSITION DETAILS

    The Enrollment Coordinator at Lehman College will assist with enrollment reports and DOE corrective actions.

     

    Reporting to the Senior Registrar, s/he will also assist with configuring the yearly academic calendar in

     

    CUNYfirst which includes two terms, two sessions, and one of the sessions has six sections so far.

    As Coordinator of Enrollment Reports and Academic Calendar, the position is responsible for assisting with

    enrollment reports for the office and Enrollment Division. S/he will assist with the daily enrollment reports

     

    required during the registration period and stand-up meetings. This position will assist the Senior Registrar with

     

    the configuration of the yearly academic and final exam calendars which are posted on our website. The

    Coordinator will ensure all calendar dates match the University Registrar dates and coordinate the final exam

    dates. S/he will respond to inquiries from constituents as it pertains to enrollment reports and calendars. Will

    work closely with different student service offices to recreate student records that were not rolled over from

    legacy to CUNYfirst. The position will coordinate corrective actions as required by Department of Education file

     

    review. This will include, but is not limited to, running queries, after all grades are submitted, and identifying

    instructors who provided certain grades and requesting the latest academic related activity as well as crafting

    office communications to assist with compliance of corrective actions which are required. The position will work

    with the Senior and Deputy Registrar in identifying undeclared students and post service indicators as

    required. S/he will assist in training COAs and supervise Work Study office aides. The Coordinator will

     

    leverage our student record system to assist with incoming inquires via the Registrar’s Office main email.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's Degree required.

     

    Familiarity with CUNYfirst, Degree Works and FACTS preferred. Willingness to learn new software/hardware (Access, Crystal Reports, CUNYfirst query writing).

    CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW

    Supports student enrollment activities and processing.

     

    - Provides direct student services and works collaboratively with other units to support registration, payment, and related activities

     

    - Conducts workshops on enrollment management services and processes

     

    - Counsels students, staff and faculty on academic registration, admissions, testing, and related processing

     

    - Manages student information databases and resolves issues with student records and transactions

     

    - Ensures compliance with college, Federal, and New York State regulations and policies

     

    - Creates and updates content for web pages, bulletins, and other media to ensure effective communications to students and campus community

     

    - May supervise clerical and/or part-time staff and coordinate work schedules

     

    - Performs related duties as assigned.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    Salary commensurate with education and experience. $66,154
