    Job Description

    Support manufacturing through CAD drawings, process improvements, 3D printing, tool testing, and mechanical troubleshooting. Requires strong design, communication, and time management skills.

    Essential Functions:

    + Work with plant engineering to draw cellular manufacturing layouts

    + Knowledge, understanding, and ability to manage 3D printers

    + Use CAD to create process prints for manufacturing

    + Create tooling drawings for various manufacturing processes

    + Work with manufacturing and lean engineers on plant process improvement activities

    + Complete tool testing

    + Troubleshoot and fix complex mechanical systems

    + Good understanding of design process

    + Good understanding of creating assemblies and drawings complete with BOM

    + Good project management and communication skills

    + Able to work effectively independently and in a team setting

    + Complete other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum GPA of 3.0

    + Currently enrolled Sophomore, Junior, Senior or master’s program student

    + Majors: All mechanical engineering majors

    + Microsoft Office proficiency
