Our client, a leading apparel manufacturing company, is seeking an Alterations/Seamstress to join their team. As an Alterations Associate, you will be part of the production department supporting the customization and alteration of pants to meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:
Pay Range: 18.00
Shift: 1st and 2nd
What's the Job?
+ Operate commercial sewing machines to customize pants according to customer orders
+ Perform alterations and adjustments to ensure perfect fit and quality including but not limited to hemming pant legs
+ Follow detailed instructions to meet specific customer requirements
+ Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
What's Needed?
+ At least 6 months of experience with sewing machines and alterations
+ Basic understanding of sewing techniques and garment alterations
+ Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
+ Strong attention to detail and quality control
+ Reliable and punctual work ethic
+ Ability to read a measuring tape
