Are you looking for a remote opportunity where you will make a difference in people's lives? We have an amazing client, Intuit, who is looking for a Leave of Absence Specialist! This position will offer a challenge where you can utilize your skills and make a difference. This is a W2 contract role with a duration of 6+ months, requiring the employee to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours. Strong preference to candidates residing on the West Coast.
This role is vital in ensuring we provide a best-in-class leave of absence delivery experience to Intuits employees. You will be putting the employee first, working to resolve leave of absence and compensation issues in a timely manner, and creating and fostering credibility by partnering with internal and external partners.
What you will do:
+ Acts as an escalation point for absence management inquiries for internal and external partners
+ Serve as an expert on Americas' leaves of absence, vendor processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic enhancements
+ Conduct ongoing audits to ensure that leave programs are aligned with payroll and other partner expectations
+ Collaborate closely with our key partners on the end-to-end design and launch of new and improved employee experiences across leave of absence with frequent consultation with the team manager and senior members of the Benefits Delivery team for support
+ Leverage and audit key data and insights to identify and influence opportunities for improvement in employee experiences prioritized in the appropriate governing body
+ Focus on managing robust and compliant absence management processes in partnership with our program administrators, and in alignment with payroll operations
+ Establishes cross-functional relationships to serve as a trusted advisor and collaborator to key partners
+ Partner with payroll and technical teams to ensure the accuracy of employee pay, data, and functionality of electronic data interfaces with partner vendors
+ Consistently apply Intuit policies and standards to situations
Qualifications - External
Education:
+ Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
+ Nice to have: Associate or Bachelor's DegreeKnowledge, ability, and Skills:
+ 4 years of Experience with HRIS Systems. Experience with WorkDay is preferred
+ 5+ years of leave of absence experience.
+ Claims Management experience is a preferred
+ Experience in California preferred
+ Partner experience with Payroll & Legal departments a plus
+ Extensive knowledge of leave requirements and other legal protections afforded by the FMLA, ADA, ADAAA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws
+ Strong cross-functional influencing and communication skills (written, verbal and visual)
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Operational excellence, including end-to-end process and workflow management

Salary: $45 - $50/hour depending on experience
