WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Our team provides comprehensive support and services to all NBA, WNBA, G League (GL), and select international basketball teams. We play a crucial role in ensuring that these organizations receive the highest quality of service, and product, tailored to the unique needs of each league and team around the globe.
You will work most closely with your immediate Sports Marketing apparel and service team; however, your daily operations are deeply integrated with a variety of cross-functional teams, from product creation, purchasing and delivery. As a member of this unit, you will engage closely with some of the following groups:
+ NBA, WNBA and GL Product Teams: Collaborate to optimize offerings, develop new solutions, and resolve product-related inquiries for our teams.
+ Strategy & Insights (S&IP): Work alongside these teams to analyze data, track trends, and support strategic decisions that impact our service models.
+ Operations (Ops): Coordinate on logistics, order processing, and day-to-day workflow to guarantee a seamless operational experience.
+ Domestic and Overseas Factories
+ Supply Chain and Product Development teams
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an individual who brings robust product expertise and a deep understanding of the product creation process, paired with a track record of effective communication and relationship-building across diverse teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced proficiency in data analysis whilst using tools such as Excel and Tableau, enabling them to translate complex insights and data into actionable strategies. Demand planning competency is essential, as well as familiarity with Demand and Supply Management (DSM) systems. Expertise in SAP or other ERP platforms is highly valued, as this role requires navigating and optimizing technical systems to support best-in-class product and service delivery. Proficiency in forecasting, deep and analytical skills are critical in this role to drive inventory efficiencies while balancing service to the leagues. Candidates who thrive in dynamic, cross-functional environments and possess a passion for operational excellence within the sports industry will excel in this position.
+ Experience in forecasting, analytics and inventory management required
+ Bachelor's degree in sports management or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
+ 5+ years’ navigating the Nike matrix to achieve high‐level business results for an external partner providing Nike’s “premium service” expectations, as well as system knowledge to facilitate the best service in the industry.
+ Expertise in SAP or other ERP platforms is highly preferred
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
We’re looking for someone who will ensure that NIKE meets our contractual obligations from a product ordering and inventory standpoint with NBA, WNBA, and GL teams and league. More specifically, we’ll look to you to provide the best service in the industry, focused on the following key accountabilities.
+ Drive supply chain optimization in alignment with KPIs (buy readiness, usage, delivery, aged inventory).
+ Manage buy process optimization for sport dimension. Ensure purchase of seeding, must-buy, and all associated on-field and off-field product.
+ Manage product inventory: Optimize product usage aligned to service agreements, DC capacity health, and seasonal product flow.
+ Ensure service level agreement compliance: Track supply and demand match KPIs such as PIFOT, coverage, and buy readiness.
By directly supporting the operational and logistical needs of professional basketball teams, your work ensures athletes and staff have exactly what they need, when they need it. You will help maintain our reputation as a trusted partner to some of the world’s most prominent sports organizations, while developing a holistic understanding of product life cycles, supply chain management, and stakeholder communication.
