The selected candidate will aid in the development and issuance of Medicaid managed care audits; analyze data and make determinations on audit disputes, prepare well-written and accurate audit reports, and correspond professionally within and outside the agency while overseeing mail-out recovery projects. These audits recover improper payments made to managed care organizations when one Medicaid member is issued more than one Client Identification Number (CIN) which result in duplicate payments. The candidate will also participate in contract-based recoveries for family planning chargeback; learn and apply Medicaid policy, regulations, and Medicaid managed care contracts to audits; conduct research on existing and emerging trends in Medicaid managed care; work well as part of a team and independently; and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
