    How will you make an impact?

     

    We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support consolidated financial reporting across multiple U.S. and international entities. This role will oversee the month-end close process, manage subsidiary trial balances, ensure the completeness and accuracy of reporting, and help lead the financial integration of newly acquired businesses. The Assistant Controller will also manage key treasury functions including AP and bank-related controls, support the audit process, and oversee various tax compliance items as needed.

     

    This position will manage a team of 5–8 accounting professionals and requires strong operational accounting experience, solid technical skills in U.S. GAAP, and comfort working in Microsoft Dynamics 365. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and brings a proactive mindset to systems, processes, and team development.

     

    What will you do?

     

    + Oversee and coordinate the monthly close and consolidation of multiple domestic and international subsidiaries

    + Ensure completeness and accuracy of subsidiary trial balances and group-level financial statements

    + Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany activity

    + Support external audit and tax compliance requirements, including coordination with advisors

    + Manage treasury activities including daily cash, payment controls, and accounts payable

    + Assist with the integration of newly acquired entities, including alignment of accounting processes and reporting structures

    + Continuously improve internal controls, financial processes, and the effective use of Microsoft Dynamics 365

    + Provide mentorship and oversight to a growing team of 5–8 accounting staff

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Compensation and Benefits

     

    + Salary range of $129,000 - $172,000 annually

     

    (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with industry data.)

    How will you get here?

     

    Education and Experience

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

    + CPA is required

    + 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team management

    + A combination of education, experience and training may meet requirements.

     

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

     

    + Strong working knowledge and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and multi-entity consolidations

    + Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems

    + Experience in acquisitive, high-growth environments preferred

    + Proven ability to manage audit, treasury, and compliance responsibilities

    + Strong Excel skills and comfort with system-based reporting and automation

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities
