    Position Summary

    The National Accounts Director - Molecular Science Liaison (MSL) will understand the clinical aspect of precision medicine related biomarker tests, as offered by Caris Life Sciences, to provide up to date clinically relevant information to clients and capable of explaining the clinical significance of the Caris Molecular Intelligence offering.

     

    In addition, the National Accounts Director - Molecular Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based scientific expert responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with key decision-makers at national accounts, including academic medical centers, oncology networks, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and group purchasing organizations (GPOs). This role blends traditional MSL responsibilities with high-level account strategy and cross-functional collaboration to align scientific engagement with business objectives.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Develop and maintain strong relationships with national-level accounts, including medical directors, clinical leaders, and key influencers.

    + Collaborate with the Corporate Accounts Business Unit (SAM/NAM and Executive Sales Management) and Business Development team to increase Caris’ clinical and scientific profile and enhance relationship with key customers, opinion leaders, and potential business partners.

    + Represents the field-based MSLs on strategic national initiatives with marketing, sales, and business development departments.

    + Manage, support, communicate and coordinate the strategic development and execution of medical/scientific goals tailored to large account structures in conjunction regional MSL Leadership and MSLs

    + Drive support for scientific/educational strategies and tactics such as clinical and disease area publications, advisory boards, advocacy development and national account education programs.

    + Participate in key account planning and execution meetings with cross-functional partners.

    + Enhance the knowledge base of the targeted customer base within national accounts.

    + Represent Caris and Corporate Account Team at key national account conferences.

    + Coordinate, train and mentor regional MSLs on account-specific strategies and best practices.

    + Assist, as needed, in performing other related duties and special projects as required.

    Required Qualifications

    + Doctoral degree in a molecular biological (or other related field) from an accredited institution.

    + Minimum 5 years of MSL experience, including experience in a national or key account-facing role.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Prior experience in a commercial atmosphere such as Pharmaceuticals or Commercial Lab space a plus.

    + Prior field experience working with customers and/or sales organization a plus

    Physical Demands

    + Will work at a computer some of the time as well as travel to on-site visits to give presentations as requested.

    Training

    + All job specific, safety, and compliance training are assigned based on the job functions associated with this employee.

    Other

    + Role will involve frequent travel throughout an assigned geography (up to 80% travel)

    + This position requires periodic travel and some evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

    + At times may be required to work weekends/holidays.

     

    Annual Hiring Range

     

    $190,000 - $220,000

     

    Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
