    Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

    Job Description

    This role involves repairing dies using a range of equipment including manual mills, prototrack, manual lathes, Haas CNC, wire EDM machines, Blanchard grinders, saws, and welders. The position also requires MIG and TIG welding, troubleshooting and repairing large dies ranging from 150 tons to 2800 tons, and working in a stamping environment. You will be responsible for building tools according to work instructions and prints, repairing progressive and transfer dies, and troubleshooting dies both in machines and on the bench.

    Responsibilities

    + Repair dies using various manual and CNC machines.

    + Perform MIG and TIG welding.

    + Troubleshoot and repair large dies in a stamping environment.

    + Build tools per work instructions and prints.

    + Conduct tool and die repairs on progressive and transfer dies.

    + Troubleshoot dies from machines and on the bench.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 2 years of experience with tool and die work, specifically with progressive and transfer dies.

    + Experience operating both manual and CNC machines.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints.

    + Basic welding skills, including MIG, TIG, or stick welding.

    + Ownership of personal hand tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge in machining and toolmaking.

    + Experience with blueprints, lathes, CNC, and tooling.

    + Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Findlay, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $74048.00 - $78416.00/yr.

     

    -GREAT benefits - see me for benefits package - kick in 1st of the month after 60 days. 90/10 coverage ($28/week for a family)

     

    -Onsite health clinic which is 100% free for employee and anyone on benefits

    -Uniforms are provided

    -Boot allowance - $150 yearly

    -Attendance bonuses 3 months with perfect attendance, they receive a paid day off. Plus they receive an attendance bonus each month they have perfect attendance. Average is .30/hr. on all the hours worked the previous month.

     

    -2 weeks PTO after 90 days
