Job Title: Fabrication Welder

Job Description

In this role you will be fabricating cylinder pieces that go into the wings of airplanes. MIG and TIG will be the main forms of welding in this role. Reading blueprints is a main factor of this role. We will hold a welding test on the interview. 1st shift role with flexible pay based on the years you have welding. We are looking for candidates as soon as possible for this role. It will be a 6 month contract to permanent position.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to load and unload trailers.

+ Pack and prepare products for shipment within the warehouse.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in inventory management.

+ Perform Mig and Tig welding tasks as required.

+ Conduct welding inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

+ Assemble components and products as needed.

+ Utilize a tape measure for precise measurements.

Essential Skills

+ Proven forklift experience.

+ Previous warehouse experience.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with packing and inventory management.

+ Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.

+ Proficiency in Mig and Tig welding techniques.

Work Environment

The work environment includes operating within a warehouse with safety as a top priority. You will be on your feet all day, using equipment such as forklifts and welding tools. The shift runs from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
