Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

A medium-sized distributor of smokeless tobacco products is seeking dedicated warehouse workers. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders, conducting cycle counts, managing inventory, and other duties related to shipping and receiving. This position primarily requires manual labor rather than operating forklifts.

Responsibilities

+ Load and unload trucks efficiently.

+ Pull orders accurately and in a timely manner.

+ Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory.

+ Handle shipping and receiving tasks.

+ Perform general labor and material handling duties.

Essential Skills

+ At least 2 years of warehouse experience.

+ Proficient with forklifts and pallet jacks.

+ Experience in loading and unloading trucks.

+ Familiarity with RF scanners and order picking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Computer savvy and strong inventory management skills.

+ Experience working in a distribution center.

Work Environment

Work in a brand-new, air-conditioned warehouse with traditional racking for small products.

The dress code includes steel toes, jeans, and work shirts, with potential for more casual attire in hot weather.

The schedule is from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends based on demand.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Missouri City, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
