Job Title: HVAC Foreman and Journeyman

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Foreman to oversee the installation of all facets of HVAC ductwork and equipment. This role involves setting units, connecting systems, and ensuring installations are accurate through layout and field measurements. The HVAC Foreman will lead a team of 2-3 members, coordinating tasks and maintaining workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

+ Install HVAC ductwork and equipment, including setting units and connecting systems.

+ Perform layout and field measurements to ensure accurate installation.

+ Lead and supervise a crew of 2–3 team members, assigning tasks and maintaining workflow.

+ Unload and organize materials and equipment on-site.

+ Coordinate with crane operators for equipment placement and material lifts.

+ Maintain proper inventory levels of materials and supplies.

+ Report daily progress and updates to the Project Manager.

+ Read and work independently from blueprints and technical drawings.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience leading HVAC installation teams.

+ Proficiency in HVAC ductwork installation and equipment setup.

+ Strong skills in layout, field measuring, and crane coordination.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

+ Clean driving record and strong documentation and communication skills.

+ Experience with data logs and databases like 'CompanyCam' for job site documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in commercial construction and sheet metal work.

+ Ability to complete redlines and fill out time cards accurately.

+ Must bring your own basic tools of the trade.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hays, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $81120.00/yr.

Benefits included are 100% paid health and dental insurance, accidental death, life, and supplemental insurance, 401K, Paid Holidays, vacation, boot allowance, with company provided electronic devices, work truck, and uniforms.
