    Job Title: Senior Civil Project Manager Job Description

     

    Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial, warehouse, and mixed-use developments for both public and private clients. Collaborate with office leadership on growth strategies and staff utilization, and support business development by cultivating new and existing client relationships. Lead site/civil design including layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion control. Oversee stormwater management, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP documentation. Apply expertise in land development, integrating geotechnical and environmental engineering.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and permit various development projects.

    + Collaborate with office leadership on strategic growth and staff utilization.

    + Cultivate new and existing client relationships for business development.

    + Lead site/civil design projects including layout, grading, and drainage.

    + Oversee stormwater management and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis.

    + Integrate geotechnical and environmental engineering expertise in land development.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

    + 10+ years of local site/civil engineering experience focused on land development.

    + Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

    + Proven expertise in site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion control.

    + Strong client development and relationship management skills.

    + Proficient in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

    + Skilled in technical and proposal writing.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Detail-oriented with strong analytical and multitasking abilities.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

    + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits and client meetings.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Active in professional organizations.

    + Proficient in AutoCAD or Civil 3D (preferred).

    Work Environment

    The individual will report to the site/civil leader and will be part of a team including another Senior Project Manager and two project managers. The team comprises 20 people total, and the individual will eventually manage 6-7 team members. Projects include industrial, commercial, data centers, and solar work. The firm operates under a seller-doer model, meaning individuals are responsible for doing, owning, and overseeing their work.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $106000.00 - $171000.00/yr.
