MUST HAVE

+ Experience as a Medical Assistant

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

+ Experience with electronic health records.

+ Strong patient care skills.

+ Ability to accurately schedule appointments and manage medical terminology.

+ Compassionate and adaptable with a passion for fertility.

+ Seeking a long-term fit and desire to grow within the fertility field.

NICE TO HAVE

+ Certified Medical Assistant Certification preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Phlebotomist, referred to as a Medical Assistant, who will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience. This position involves working closely with physicians to provide exceptional care, engaging with patients daily, and being an integral part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

+ Rooming patients and obtaining vitals.

+ Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection.

+ Scheduling appointments and maintaining patient charts.

+ Maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment.

+ Assisting physicians during procedures such as saline sonograms and IUIs.

Work Environment

The position is based in Portland, OR, Weekend rotation is required once or twice a month, and holiday rotation is required a few times a year. The work environment includes a traditional clinic with patient examination rooms, an ambulatory surgery center, and an embryology/IVF lab equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The facility fosters a supportive and innovative atmosphere, prioritizing patient-centric care.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
