Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Engineer join a dynamic team working on a large-scale water/wastewater infrastructure project. This is a high-impact, on-site role supporting a $190M clean water infrastructure initiative. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale construction projects, particularly in the water/wastewater or industrial sector, and be comfortable managing RFIs, submittals, and coordination tasks. This role offers growth paths to Project Manager or Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities

+ Support project management activities including RFIs, submittals, and coordination

+ Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and other engineers on-site

+ Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle—from preconstruction and estimating to closeout

+ Engage with subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth execution

Qualifications:

+ 1-5 years in water infrastructure projects

+ Experience with water/wastewater or clean water infrastructure projects

+ RFIs, submittals, and coordination experience

+ Strong communication and organizational skills

+ Exposure to full project lifecycle

+ Experience managing projects valued between $10M-$50M preferred

+ Preconstruction and estimating experience preferred

Not a Fit:

+ Candidates from oil & gas or energy sectors

+ Process engineers without relevant water/wastewater experience

+ Commercial construction professionals seeking to stay in that sector

Work Environment: On-site at the Westminster, CO. Collaborative team of Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $82000.00 - $107000.00/yr.

Compensation: $82,000–$107,000/year + discretionary bonus (3–7%, eligible starting next year) Career Path: PE Superintendent Project Manager
