Hiring for Entry Level General Laborer

in Shakopee, MN, US Pay $22/hr for 1st shift

Job Description

As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for replacing old yellow fabric with new yellow fabric while managing inventory. This role requires comfort with heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds repetitively, and working in a loud and fast-paced environment. You will collaborate as part of a team to complete a set number of swaps within a specific timeframe. Additionally, maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment in compliance with company policies is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Replace old yellow fabric with new yellow fabric and manage inventory.

+ Lift up to 50 pounds repetitively in a loud and fast-paced environment.

+ Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet swap targets.

+ Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy working environment in compliance with company policies.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general labor, hand tool usage, and power tool operation.

+ Experience in construction, production, or carpentry.

+ Commercial construction and assembly experience.

+ Ability to build and assemble metal workstations and inventory shelving units.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to read a tape measure.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.

+ Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment up to 45 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
