Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
+ Perform sterile compounding in compliance with USP standards
+ Compound testosterone formulations with a seed oil base, GLP-1s, and cyclosporine
+ Maintain a clean and organized compounding environment through routine cleaning and disinfection
+ Accurately document compounding activities including batch records, cleaning logs, and quality control checks
+ Participate in quality assurance and quality control programs
+ Assist with inventory management including receiving, labeling, and storing supplies
Required Skills and Qualifications
+ Familiarity with USP <797> compliance
+ Sterile compounding experience preferred
+ PTCB certification preferred, but not required
+ Tennessee pharmacy technician registration preferred
+ Interest or experience in leadership roles is a plus
+ Experience compounding multiple drug types preferred
Work Environment
+ 5,000 sq ft facility with a 4,000 sq ft expansion underway
+ Team includes six pharmacists and a total staff of 30
+ Six sterile hoods currently in use, with eight more planned
+ Significant opportunity for advancement in a rapidly expanding pharmacy
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
