    Job Description:

    We are seeking a Transportation Design Engineer to join a fast-growing civil engineering team working on a wide range of urban and rural roadway projects for local and regional agencies. This is a direct placement opportunity with a company based in Denver and Colorado Springs.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead or support roadway and highway design projects from concept through construction

    + Prepare construction documents and design plans using Civil 3D, OpenRoads, and MicroStation/InRoads

    + Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met

    + Assist in project initiation, design reviews, and quality control

    + Communicate project progress and technical details effectively with internal and external teams

    Qualifications:

    + 4+ years of experience in transportation design (roadway/highway)

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, OpenRoads, and/or MicroStation InRoads

    + Strong understanding of the project lifecycle and public infrastructure design standards

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + PE license (or ability to obtain within 3-6 months)

    + Experience with roundabout design

    + Familiarity with local agency standards and DOT requirements

    + Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small design teams

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
