    Job Description

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Power Distribution Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with an engineering degree who are eager to start a career in power systems and electrical distribution. You will assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical distribution systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the design and layout of overhead and underground power distribution systems.

    + Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and equipment sizing.

    + Support the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, field engineers, and utility representatives.

    + Conduct site visits to gather data and support construction activities.

    + Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.

    + Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.

    + Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, GIS, and power system analysis programs.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Eagerness to learn and grow within the power distribution field.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves collaboration with various teams and occasional site visits. Engineers are expected to use software tools like AutoCAD and GIS in their daily tasks. The role may require working independently as well as part of a team, and includes opportunities for professional growth within the power distribution field.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50/hr.
