About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled **Heavy Equipment Operator** to join our team and support trenching operations for electrical installations. This hands-on role combines machinery operation with manual electrical work, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience as an apprentice electrician during slower periods.

• Key Responsibilities

+ Operate mini and full-sized excavators for trenching

+ Install wire and conduit manually for electrical systems

+ Use Bobcat E35–E60 Series equipment and Bobcat Dozer for backfill and grading

+ Perform tasks using grade stakes (no GPS)

+ Support underground utility, construction, and cable installation projects

•️ Essential Skills

+ Proficiency with excavators, dozers, and backhoes

+ Strong knowledge in excavation and heavy equipment operation

+ Ability to perform trenching and digging with precision

+ Familiarity with underground electrical installations

• Additional Qualifications

+ Interest or experience in electrical work (apprenticeship opportunity available)

+ Comfort working in underground construction environments

+ Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
