    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    A manufacturer located in the Eastern Indianapolis region is seeking multiple Machine Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves operating various industrial machines and ensuring parts meet quality specifications.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate up to four industrial machines simultaneously.

    + Use basic hand and power tools to change tooling.

    + Utilize quality instruments to ensure parts meet quality specifications.

    + Perform repetitive manual lifting and push materials throughout the department.

    + Ensure proper documentation of materials and batch numbers according to guidelines.

    + Withstand heat and remain on feet for 8 to 12 hours at a time.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in machine operation.

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    + Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.

    + Experience with mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.

    + Knowledge of CNC and laser operations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + At least 1 year of experience in machine operating.

    + Stable work history with 1+ year per job.

    + Ability to withstand high temperatures.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a 1 million square foot facility that is hot but clean, depending on the department. Training will take place on 1st shift for approximately 4 months, with a lecture-style and hands-on machinery training approach. Shift hours include 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with potential overtime extensions.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $49920.00/yr.
