    Job Title: Shipping Specialist

    Job Description

    As a Shipping Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate loading of customer finished products and accessories. This entry-level position within the shipping department requires physical labor and involves moving Electronic Gaming Machines, pallets, and accessories. You will verify load manifests and ensure order accuracy.

    Responsibilities

    + Physically load and unload Electronic Gaming Machines using shipping dollies and accessory parts.

    + Operate a pallet jack to load completed and LTL orders, and shrink-wrap pallets.

    + Utilize safe moving and handling techniques to minimize the risk of injuries.

    + Use a computer and handheld scanner with basic program knowledge.

    + Communicate effectively with internal and external departments, truck drivers, and leadership.

    + Box Electronic Gaming Machines and band accessory orders as required.

    + Move Electronic Gaming Machines off carts and scan into locations based on order numbers.

    + Cover finished goods with dust bags and secure stabilizers with green bands.

    + Physically load Electronic Gaming Machines into trucks and containers based on serial numbers.

    + Verify international orders and box Electronic Gaming Machines using proper banding tools.

    + Operate a manual pallet jack to load orders.

    + Utilize shipping dashboards to verify order completion.

    + Blanket Electronic Gaming Machines as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Material handling, inventory management, sorting, wrapping, loading, hand tools, packing, picking, stocking, cleaning, cycle counts, warehouse inventory, general labor, inspection, scanner operation, data entry, packaging.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to lift, pull, and push weights between 50 and 100 pounds.

    + Basic knowledge of computer programs and handheld scanners.

    + Effective communication skills with team members and leadership.

    + Ability to follow instructions accurately.

    Work Environment

     

    The role involves physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds daily and occasionally up to 150 pounds. Overtime work may be required based on business needs. The work environment exposes employees to varying temperatures from cool to warm. You will be required to stand and/or walk throughout the warehouse for extended periods, engage in repetitive motions, and adhere to warehouse safety protocols. Steel-toe shoes and a safety vest must be worn at all times.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
