Job Description
As a Facilities Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of our facilities by performing daily maintenance tasks and addressing any safety or emergency issues promptly.
Salary: $52,000-$61,000.
Responsibilities
+ Perform daily walkthrough of parking lots for trash and safety concerns.
+ Respond to safety, emergency, or maintenance issues, prioritizing as needed to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs to the building and equipment, including plumbing, patching and painting walls, hanging pictures, shelves, and cleaning roof drains.
+ Set up and organize new hires and office moves.
+ Set up and tear down chairs, tables, and equipment for meetings, trainings, and company functions.
+ Assist with scheduling and overseeing service calls with contractors for regular maintenance and emergency repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lift trucks, etc.).
+ Support facilities record keeping and manage all supply inventory, maintaining a weekly tracker and reordering as needed.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance and common areas, including parking lots, lobbies, supply closets, copy centers, warehouse mezzanine, kitchen cabinets, and break areas.
+ Perform regular maintenance of all coffee machines and breakroom appliances.
+ Sort daily mail and distribute it to appropriate mailboxes.
+ Assist with essential porter and janitor tasks as needed.
+ Assist in various ad hoc duties and projects as directed by the Sr. Facilities Manager.
Essential Skills
+ Strong maintenance and repair experience, preferably in commercial facilities.
+ Proficient in facilities maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
+ Experience with plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
+ Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
+ Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both in writing and verbally.
+ Capable of following clear instructions and asking questions when necessary.
+ Ability to work independently and propose efficiency and improvement ideas.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
+ OSHA Certification is a plus.
+ Must be able to utilize a ladder for work purposes and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $61984.00/yr.
