Job Title: Technical Account Service Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Account Service Engineer who will be responsible for providing exceptional technical service and consultative guidance to our premier clientele in the Los Angeles region. This role includes optimizing Vendor Managed Inventory systems, overseeing inventory logistics, and directly fulfilling client orders. The position offers a comprehensive view of our organization's operations with potential career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain and set-up Vendor Managed Inventories.

+ Deliver orders generated by the ASR and/or sales team using company vehicle.

+ Receive, pick, and package orders for delivery.

+ Maintain inventory, including cycle counting at the RD office.

+ Document value-added activities in our business system.

+ Develop relationships with key stakeholders at serviced accounts to uncover opportunities or issues, promote team selling, and facilitate high-level communications.

+ Assist with quote and proposal preparation, and product demonstrations.

+ Develop expertise in specific assigned products or programs and work with the sales team to help grow sales.

+ Provide technical assistance to customers on new and existing products.

+ Assist with assembling kits for training courses.

+ Maintain client-ready presentation of the Rancho Dominguez facility and vehicle.

+ Maintain, organize, and inventory sample kits and demonstration materials for Account Managers.

+ Provide fitting reassembly services at third-party locations as needed.

Essential Skills

+ BS or BA in a technical, business or related field.

+ Ability to be added to company insurance policy (good driving record).

+ Strong desire to work autonomously and develop into a professional sales role.

+ Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

+ Extensive travel within assigned geography (minimal overnight).

+ Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with business systems such as CRM, SalesForce, SAP, Oracle is a plus.

+ Swagelok product knowledge and quote-to-cash process (training provided).

Work Environment

This role involves 80% on-site work at client locations and 20% at the Rancho Domingo Hub. The position requires extensive travel within the assigned geography, though minimal overnight stays are expected. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, focusing on delivering first-rate service and solutions to our clients.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Camarillo, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
