    Forklift Operator / PC&L Operator – Experience NEEDED

     

    Adecco is hiring immediately for **PC&L Operators (Forklift Operators)** at a large automotive manufacturing client in Fraser, MI. PC&L Operators perform essential work in the Logistics Department, ensuring the flow of quality parts and raw materials from receipt to shipment. You will unload trucks, verify materials, stock inventory, replenish lines, and transport products within the facility using pallet jacks, forklifts, and tugger equipment.

     

    **MUST HAVE forklift operator experience** listed on resume, including use of pallet jacks.

    Shifts & Pay

    + **1st Shift:** 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    + **3rd Shift:** 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

    + **Pay Rate:** $17.50 per hour

    + Paid weekly

    Job Responsibilities

    + Attend daily shift meetings and follow standard work to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.

    + Perform material handling operations in Receiving, Stockroom, and Production areas.

    + Unload trucks, verify materials, remove packaging, and confirm parts against packing slips.

    + Stock materials, maintain FIFO part bin management, and count/return materials from the floor.

    + Replenish production lines using pallet jacks, forklifts, and tuggers.

    + Apply logistics basics (7 Delivery Basics, 7 Inventory Basics, booking, traceability, labeling, container management).

    + Maintain good housekeeping standards and support 5S activities.

    + Escalate issues to supervisor or GAP Leader as necessary.

    + Verify SAP transactions and physical locations for accuracy.

    + Ensure proper application of HSE procedures, including ISO 14001/45001 standards.

    + Participate in continuous improvement projects using FES tools.

    + Rotate jobs to promote a safer environment and cross-training.

    + Support other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    + **Forklift and pallet jack experience is required** in a manufacturing logistics/shipping/receiving setting.

    + Experience in the automotive industry strongly preferred.

    + Ability to operate forklift and tugger equipment (certification preferred; training available if needed).

    + Strong attention to detail, decision-making skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

    + Self-motivated, reliable, and a strong team player.

    + Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills (SAP/WMS a plus).

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

    + Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes required.

    + High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

    **Pay Details:** $17.50 per hour
