    Production Technician - 1st & 2nd Shift - Poway, CA

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Production Technician at a well-established, advanced technology, high-reliability printed circuit board manufacturer located in Poway, California. We are seeking motivated and team-oriented individuals, both entry-level and experienced, for various areas within the production department.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate within a semi-clean room environment in the Image department, including coating the film and running machines that apply images to PCBs and operating a solder masking machine.

    + Work in the Mechanical department, operating machines such as laser drills and CNCs, and performing visual inspections after machine processes.

    + Engage in the Wet Process department, handling the chemical plating of PCBs, which may involve wearing specific safety uniforms.

    + Utilize microscopes or magnifying glasses for inspection tasks across all departments.

    + Lift up to 20 lbs or push carts as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, general production, and machine operating.

    + Knowledge of PCB, electronic manufacturing, plating, and chemicals.

    + Ability to set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment.

    + Basic visual inspection skills.

    + Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

    + Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

    + High school graduate or equivalent.

    + U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Resident, or Refugee Status required.

    + Willingness to learn and cross-train in other equipment or departments.

    + Team-player mentality.

    + Experience with CNC and drill machines is a plus.

    + Ability to read and understand customer specifications, prints, and related documents.

    + Strong listening skills to gather and process requests and respond accordingly.

    + Physical endurance to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
