Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to assist with the management of inbound and outbound shipments. This role involves handling automotive materials and supplies, ensuring their safe and efficient loading and unloading from trucks.

Responsibilities

+ Manage and execute inbound and outbound shipments.

+ Load and unload trucks with automotive materials and supplies.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory control tasks.

+ Operate forklifts to transport materials safely and efficiently.

+ Select orders and prepare them for shipment.

+ Utilize ERP systems for data entry and record-keeping.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in shipping and receiving operations.

+ Proficiency in inventory control and data entry.

+ Skilled in operating forklifts.

+ Familiarity with ERP systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a warehouse setting with exposure to automotive materials. The position involves operating forklifts and other machinery, and adherence to safety protocols is mandatory. The dress code is casual, suitable for a warehouse environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Portage, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.81 - $19.81/hr.
